Who we are

We are two healers aligned in one frequency.

We are Timika L. Watkins and Lorianna N. Steele. Lifted Soul by Elysium is a collaborative wellness collective grounded in the belief that healing is both personal and shared. We were created from a mutual vision to build more than a studio — a space where nervous system safety, integrity, and authentic care are foundational, and where both clients and practitioners are supported in meaningful ways. This sacred space is the home for Elysium, LBC and LS Wellness Solutions LLC to collaborate together as well as operate independently.

We come together from different backgrounds and areas of focus, yet remain deeply aligned in how we approach healing. Our work honors the interconnected nature of mind, body, and spirit, recognizing that chronic stress, trauma, illness, hormonal transitions, grief, and life change do not exist in isolation. They live within the nervous system, the body, and the lived experience of the individual.

As a collective, we value collaboration over competition. We see the wellness industry as a space for shared service and collective healing, not comparison. Each practitioner within Lifted Soul by Elysium brings a unique perspective, expertise, and energetic presence, and we intentionally create room for that diversity to thrive. By working together and separately, we are able to meet clients where they are and offer support that feels aligned, respectful, and responsive.

At our core, we are practitioners who believe healing unfolds best when people feel safe, seen, and supported. Our intention is to create a grounded, restorative environment where individuals can reconnect with themselves, access their innate capacity to heal, and move forward with greater clarity, balance, and resilience.

  • A healer is someone who helps others feel more whole, balanced, and connected in body, mind, or spirit. Healing isn’t about magic or one-size-fits-all fixes. It’s about supporting a person’s own ability to move toward wellness and peace.

    Healers do a few things:

    • They listen deeply.
Before offering anything, a healer pays attention to what you’re really saying—your words, your body, your energy.

    • They create a safe space.
Healing happens when you feel seen and grounded, not rushed or judged.

    • They work with your strengths.
A healer doesn’t take over your journey. They help you notice what already works inside you and what might need care.

    • They use tools that fit you.
This could be talk, touch, breathwork, energy work, guided movement, or mindful practices—whatever helps you come back to yourself.

    A healer is NOT:

    • A magician or witch doctor who “fixes” you instantly

    • A substitute for medical care when it’s needed

    • Someone who tells you there’s only one right path

Healing is personal. A healer walks with you, not in front of you.

  • Sound healing is a practice that uses sound and vibration to help the body and mind settle, reset, and restore balance.

Everything in the body has rhythm. Breath, heartbeat, brainwaves. When life gets stressful, those rhythms can fall out of sync. Sound healing works by gently introducing steady, intentional sounds that help the nervous system slow down and reorganize.

During a sound healing session, you might hear or feel:

    • Singing bowls

    • Drums

    • Chimes

    • Tuning forks

    • Voice or tone

You don’t have to “do” anything. You simply listen and allow the sound to move through you.

    Sound healing can help with:

    • Deep relaxation

    • Stress and anxiety

    • Mental clarity

    • Emotional release

    • Feeling grounded in your body

It’s not about believing in anything special or trying to make something happen. The body naturally responds to vibration. Sound gives it a way to let go of tension and return to a calmer state.

Sound healing isn’t music therapy or entertainment. It’s a quiet, intentional practice meant to support rest, awareness, and self-healing.

Each experience is different. Some people feel physical sensations. Some notice emotional shifts. Some simply feel deeply relaxed. All of those responses are normal.

  • A shaman is someone who works with awareness, ritual, and connection to help restore balance on emotional, spiritual, and energetic levels.

Traditionally, shamans were part of Indigenous cultures around the world. They served their communities by helping people navigate illness, loss, transition, and disconnection. While modern practice looks different, the core purpose is the same: helping people come back into right relationship with themselves and the world around them.

    A shaman’s work often includes:

    • Entering altered states of awareness.
This might happen through breath, rhythm, sound, or stillness. These states allow deeper insight and perception beyond everyday thinking.

    • Working with symbols, elements, and ritual.
Ritual gives structure to change. It marks intention and creates meaning where words alone may fall short.

    • Supporting spiritual and emotional healing.
Rather than focusing only on symptoms, a shaman looks at underlying patterns, wounds, or disconnections.

    • Acting as a guide, not an authority.
A shaman doesn’t claim power over you. They help you access your own wisdom and inner resources.

    A shaman is not:

    • A fortune teller

    • A guru with all the answers

    • Someone who replaces therapy or medical care

Shamanic work is experiential. It’s about listening, presence, and relationship—with self, with nature, and with what can’t always be explained logically.

In modern settings, shamanic practice is often adapted respectfully and responsibly, blending ancient understanding with present-day awareness and care.

  • No, we are not a yoga studio. While our practices often overlap with yogic practices, we provide a completely different set of services.

However, we welcome yoga practitioners and instructors to work with us and provide their services inside the collective! Contact us if you’re interested.

  • No. This work is not tied to any religion, doctrine, or required belief system.

You don’t need to believe in anything specific for the experience to be helpful. The practices used within Lifted Soul by Elysium are grounded in awareness, sound, presence, and the body’s natural ability to settle and respond.

People from many backgrounds come to this work. Some approach it spiritually. Others see it as a nervous system reset or a way to slow down and reconnect with themselves. All approaches are welcome.

While we, personally, are Christ-followers, and believe that everything we do is directly connected to and provided by the God of the universe, nothing religious is taught, preached, or imposed. While our spiritual belief is the foundation of our work and is infused into what we do, you’re invited to experience what’s offered in a way that feels right to you.

  • Absolutely not! No prior experience is needed.

You don’t need to know how to meditate, understand energy work, or have any background in spiritual practices. You don’t need to perform, visualize, or get anything “right.” That’s the beauty of this work!

All that’s required is a willingness to show up and rest. The work meets you where you are.

Many people come in feeling unsure or skeptical at first. That’s completely okay. This is an experiential practice, not something you need to understand before you begin.

We make every effort to prepare you, guide you, and assist you along the way and even after.
